재외동포청(청장 이상덕)은 제22차 세계한인비즈니스대회의 참가등록 신청 기간을 9월 30일까지 연장한다.

이번 연장은 대한민국과 재외동포가 상생발전하고, 상호 네트워크 구축에 관심있는 분들의 더 많은 참여를 독려하기 위해서다.

신청은 한상넷 홈페이지(www.hansang.net)에서 직접하면 된다. 바이어와 일반 참관객을 대상으로 하며, 등록은 무료다.

제22차 세계한인비즈니스대회는 오는 10월 22~24일 전북특별자치도 전주시(전북대학교)에서 ‘재외동포와 함께, 글로벌 비즈니스의 중심으로’라는 슬로건으로 열린다.

대회는 기업전시회, 일대일 비즈니스 미팅, 스타트업 경연대회 등 비즈니스 프로그램과 리딩 CEO 포럼, 영 비즈니스 리더 포럼, 벤처캐피털(VC) 투자포럼 등 최근 경제이슈를 반영한 네트워킹 프로그램으로 진행된다.

또한 대학생 창업경진대회, 국내 청년대상 토크 콘서트, 한인 CEO 특강 등 청년 참여를 유도하고, 전북지역 문화·관광·산업 등 지역 특색을 반영한 다양한 연계 프로그램도 마련된다.

이상덕 재외동포청장은 “올해 대회에 관심을 갖고 참가 등록을 해준 모든 분께 감사한다”면서 “재외동포 기업과 국내 중소기업이 실질적인 비즈니스 성과를 창출하는 장이 될 수 있도록 행사 준비에 만전을 기하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Buyers and general public can register at HansangNet for free

The Overseas Koreans Agency is extending the registration period for the 22nd World Korean Business Convention until Sept. 30.

The extension aims to encourage more participation from those interested in mutual networking and promoting win-win development between Korea and overseas Koreans.

Applications can be submitted directly on the HansangNet website (www.hansang.net). The extension is for buyers and general visitors, and registration is free.

The 22nd World Korean Business Convention will be held from Oct. 22-24 in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do (Jeonbuk National University), under the slogan “Together with overseas Koreans, at the center of global business.”

The event will consist of business programs, such as company exhibitions, one-on-one business meetings and startup competitions, as well as networking programs reflecting the latest economic issues, including the Leading CEO Forum, the Young Business Leaders Forum and the Venture Capital (VC) Investment Forum.

There will also be various programs to engage young people, such as a university student startup competition, a forum for Korean youth and a special lecture by Korean CEOs, as well as diverse linked programs that reflect the unique regional characteristics of Jeonbuk’s culture, tourism and industry.
